Tom Harshman, General Manager-Richmond/Dayton
Tom started with Fox Electronics in Richmond as a field service representative in 1983 after earning an associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. Fox became part of ESCO in the early 90’s and Tom later moved into a Project Manager/Tech Support role in 1992. By 1996 he became General Manager of the Richmond office retaining his role in project management.
Tom enjoys the relationships he has established throughout his tenure, as well as the cutting edge leaps in technology. He is very proud of the values ESCO maintains along with the quality of our staff.

Steve Fauchier,Executive Vice President
Steve Fauchier is an Executive Vice President and is responsible for the branch offices located in Fort Wayne and Mishawaka, which serves all of Northern Indiana. Steve has been involved in the low voltage contracting industry for over 35 years. His experience started in service, moved to service manager, and then became the general manager of a contracting firm in Iowa. Prior to joining ESCO, Steve was a regional sales manager for Altec Lansing Corporation which manufactured professional sound reinforcement components for large and small venue sound systems. Steve joined ESCO in 1989 as the General Manager of the Fort Wayne office and later established an office located in Mishawaka. Steve graduated from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids Iowa where he received an Associate’s Degree in Electronics.
Keith Schuetter, Chief Operations Officer
Keith has spent the majority of his 20 year career in the electrical industry holding numerous licenses and certifications across the United States. Keith came to ESCO in 2006 brining his vast experience in project management to ESCO, and providing leadership and project management principles to a growing systems integrations organization. Keith managed many projects while at ESCO most notably, Lucas Oil Stadium’s pro audio project. Today Keith leads the Sales Engineering department and is an integral member of ESCO’s leadership team. Keith’s attention to detail and technical aptitude is a key to ESCO’s success in building valuable added solutions for our customers.
Gary Dunn, Executive Vice President, Strategic Accounts/Business Development
Gary joined ESCO in 1990 bringing experience in the sale and marketing of communication technologies. He has been involved in many large and notable ESCO projects throughout the years. He helped develop ESCO’s educational technologies business for Indiana schools. Recently he has been instrumental in growing ESCO’s presence in the field of healthcare communications technologies and aiding caregivers in improving their patients’ outcomes.
Gary, an accomplished musician, is a lifelong Indiana native and was designated as a Hoosier Scholar and awarded a state higher education scholarship. Along with many years of industry training and construction project experience he has also completed a customized two year business leadership program through the Kelly School of Business. His passion is building lasting relationships and serving the wide array of ESCO customers by providing solutions that allow them to achieve their specific goals.
Chip Roth, President
Chip started working at ESCO Communications in the field during high school and joined the company full-time in 1980 after graduating with a business degree from Indiana University. Chip is proud to be a second generation owner working with some of the same people he worked with in the beginning and many more as the ESCO team has grown to over 100 of the most talented, knowledgeable, and dedicated employees in the communications industry. According to Chip this is the ESCO difference; people, knowledge, experience, and above all the dedication to our customers and our values.
Mike Harmon, Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
Mike has more than 25 years of industry experience, spending the majority of his time in key leadership roles with a leading provider of healthcare IT products. Mike is a graduate of Vincennes University with a degree in electrical engineering technology. Most recently attended the University of Phoenix and the University Of Michigan School of Business with a focus in strategic marketing. Mike joined ESCO Communications in the spring of 2010 to lead sales and marketing efforts for all four offices, unifying messaging and sales strategy across all of ESCO. Since Mike joined ESCO, he has been impressed with the amount of dedication, knowledge and the quality solutions the people of ESCO provide to our customers.
Rick Ford, Vice President of Operations
Rick has been with ESCO Communications since 2004. Rick leads ESCO’s Design-Build project development and manages the operations group company wide. The Operations Group includes Engineering, Project Management, Purchasing, Warehousing and Service. This group is responsible for all aspects of system design, project installation, commissioning, maintenance and emergency service. These resources combine perfectly to meet the special demands of design-build delivery. Rick personally leads these projects since he has over 30 years of DB experience, and over 40 years in the industry. In 2002 he was recognized by Design-Build Institute of America as a Designated Design-Build Professional. The operations team is dedicated to finding and providing, effective solutions to our customers’ needs.

Mike Lowe, Vice President, Commercial Sales & Bid Market
Mike started his career at ESCO in 1972. Mike is a graduate of ITT with a degree in Electronic Technology. Mike has held many different positions at ESCO, starting in service as a technician for his first 10 years, he then moved into project management and engineering roles where he successfully managed jobs at Eli Lilly, Market Square Arena, Conseco Field House, Methodist Hospital and numerous others. After 7 years, Mike was promoted to VP of operations where he led the ESCO operations team for 13 years, Mike is currently VP of Commercial Accounts leading ESCO’s Commercial Sales and Bid Market teams. One of Mike’s marquee wins in this role was the sale of Lucas Oil Stadium’s audio systems. Mike believes ESCO’s strength is our ability to listen and seek an understanding of what our clients true performance needs are and to build a solution to meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
