University of Notre Dame: Purcell Pavilion
The Purcell Pavilion is home of the University of Notre Dame’s basketball and volleyball teams, and ESCO Communications was hired to install the JBL loudspeaker system. The Purcell Pavilion is a state-of-the-art arena which opened its doors at the University of Notre Dame in 1968. This beautiful facility has been enjoyed by students, student-athletes, and fans for years.
ESCO Communications installed 16 JBL PD5322/95 full-range loudspeakers, eight PD5125 low-frequency loudspeakers and 12 ASB6128 high-power subwoofers for the main system, with five AC18 2-way loudspeakers for club level seating, eight AM5212/64 2-way loudspeakers and an additional four AC18’s for the scoreboard and VRX928 small-scale constant curvature line array loudspeakers for various performances.
With this audio system Purcell Pavilion is now prepared for the Fighting Irish fans, Notre Dame award ceremonies, and live performances hosted at the facility.
