    JOB SUMMARY: Field based Sales position for ESCO Communications. Business development and sales responsibility for assigned product lines and future new product offerings. Responsible for developing relationships and securing business with Commercial & Education accounts that are not current ESCO customers.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES – Other duties may be assigned:

    • Developing and implementing individual territory business/sales plans to meet/exceed assigned sales quota.
    • Provide compelling solution oriented presentations & proposals
    • Calling on commercial & education facilities that are not currently ESCO customers to expand our customer base and grow our business
    • Work closely with estimating and sales engineering team to provide appropriate customer requirements to provide compelling, quality, detailed and accurate system designs and proposals.
    • Responsible for presentations, coordinating the pricing process for defined applications, contracting process and achieving growth targets as defined by the company.
    • Territory is defined as assigned relationships and geographic area by county and City where applicable.

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: No supervisory responsibilities.


    • History of selling high dollar early product or segment life cycle selling.
    • Strong knowledge of construction process, AV Technology, educational technology, life safety, security technologies, mass notification and or application experience, customer relationship and growth skills.
    • Must be accustomed to custom system design, familiar with design and construction processes.
    • Understanding of estimating principles
    • Must be able to create compelling, professional proposals
    • Must be able to document track record of sales success.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Must have very strong communication and presentation skills.
    • Must have technical understanding of information and computer technology.
    • Must display and exhibit strong teamwork skills/competency.
    • Limited overnight travel


    • Bachelor Degree Business or Marketing – Preferred
    • CTS Preferred
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the AV Technology, Security Technology, communication, and or software business.
    • Strong solutions selling experience with a history of new account development roles with demonstrated track record of quota attainment and territory growth.
