    Job Description:
    An Entry Level ESCO Technician reports to an assigned Project Manager and works as part of a team, assisting with the installation and testing of low voltage systems within a facility. Low voltage systems include fire alarm, video surveillance, door access, AV, audio, paging, intercom, nurse call and network. In this supportive role, the Level 1 technician is provided the opportunity to gain field experience in the systems integration industry, and grow within the company. These individuals bridge the gap between people and technology.

    Continued education such as systems/industry training and certification courses are available to all technicians with zero out-of-pocket expenses. A passion for technology, electronics and/or computer systems, as well as an eagerness to learn are important characteristics for this entry level position.

    Responsibilities & Expectations:

    • Assists team in performing installation, service and functionality tests of low voltage systems
    • Takes part in discussing layout and assembly procedures/problems with Project Manager and helps to clarify design details and functional criteria of systems
    • Helps to adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry/components and records effects on unit performance
    • Contributes to system analysis in order to best evaluate performance and reliability of a system
    • Identifies and communicate changes, progress and/or problems of a project or its components to team members and management in a timely manner
    • Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener
    • Adapts well to changing circumstances or conditions in the field
    • Pursues career development opportunities such as training and certification courses
    • Maintains a professional attitude and appearance at all times
    • Keeps a clean and organized work environment

    • High School diploma
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Reliable transportation
